Re: Israel

Iran will continue what it was doing for decades already. As I said nothing changed; from their proxy locations in Syria they will make sure no peace is ever possible and when the Israelis decide certain targets in Syria need to be bombed, rocketeered or snipered they will do do so. The Mad mad mad ...

Re: Argentina

All my Jewish friends are paranoid about Chabad. You can't hide behind your Jewish friends any longer and do the paranoia for you. The Israeli ones think it is a cult, and they resent the Chabadniks being exempt from military service but legislating that the secular and reform Jews do all the fight...

Re: Israel

Wouldn't be surprised if adding all the dead and injured people plus material damage per war, they would all come very close. Only difference would be duration: from short and intense... to loooong and protracted. More killing i.e. enough killing and destruction are the metric by which wars end eve...

Re: Argentina

Milei’s obeisance to Chabad is a huge red flag. As for the hair, I never thought of Boris Johnson as being a fashion leader but there it is. I'm not very privy to the Chabad so no red flag for me yet.* Here the question is if his economic reforms work. *I measure any religious or philosophical doct...

Re: Argentina

On the Front Lines of Freedom | President of Argentina, Javier Milei Start to like him. If he pulls Argentina from the mud it would be a remarkable story and model for more troubled western nations. Often compared with Trump as also a "rightwing populist" but here Trump found his superior...

Re: China

Is this the way Africans are now getting back at their new colonizers by humiliating them at home in front of live camera's?? Looks like it :D Their body language might be on purpose: "we are not bought or coerced, we do this as a friendly gesture to the CCP whome we deeply love and respect!&qu...

Re: Israel

The appropriate response to Iran's (failed) ejaculations is anyone's guess, but of course Israel not showing its cards is the right thing to do. It leaves all options open and your enemies in anxious anticipation. Is anyone in need of de-escalation? Since all people directly involved and those allie...

Re: The Crisis of Meaning

There once was a Nose very keen, Who tried to explain what he'd seen. To Eye, he did say, "In fragrant display, Life's colors are hidden, you glean!" Then Eye with a vision so bright, Tried show Nose that all there is light. But Nose just replied, A sniffle beside, "Your world just l...

Re: Generative ML [AI] | ChatGPT and other software

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cn7tOHnp68 This New AI Generated Scam Is a Mind-Bender [/size][/b] Means that bit by bit the Internet loses value as a source of reliable information and a safe medium to do business. A location less and less people think is a good place to be. Even a dangerous one....

Re: China

Maximum control and maximum freedom. Only an emperor without cloths can make it work. In competative environments losers are essential. Without them no winners. An admittedly very low res impression I have, is that in Chinese culture only winning is acceptible. To lose, to fail is deeply shameful an...

Such "ambient noise" is irrelevant. Like seeing faces in the clouds. Two competing tribes in a life and death territorial fight are too busy killing or being killed. Nothing else is there. There are three tribes. The Hamas/Kazarian mafia tribe attacked Israel and pretended to be Palestine...

Cultural Alchemy: a Deja Vu [Re: The Crisis of Meaning]

To play with this definition a bit: Alchemy is the process of transformation. Day 1. Calcination: The purifying fire. Day 2. Dissolution: Stirring the pot. Day3. Separation: The good and bad. Day 4. Conjunction: The point of no return. Day 5. Fermentation: Death & resurrection. Day 6. Distillati...

A blackhole being at two places at the same time. Knew it! Sabine Hossenfelder is jumping off the quantum cliff, but which of the two cliffs? And which Sabine; the Quantum Cult member or the Quantum Critic? She seems to have chosen to bet on both. May entanglement save her... and not decohere before...
