Ukraine has become a proxy war for the United States

Russia’s outright defeat is now paramount to Washington, rather than peace in Ukraine.

Trouncing Putin will remove an old foe, undermine the alliance between Moscow and Beijing, and allow the US to refocus total hostility on China

Poor Ukrainians
.
"has become" ?? And when was the objective other than bleeding Russia out? Russia is after all the CCP's proxy in Ukraine. Though as far as I can tell so is the Biden Admin.

How could Putin be so foolish as to go to war against a country with a National Anthem such as this

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/0 ... ng-crisis/

https://www.rt.com/news/554019-poll-bri ... inflation/

Conducted by Redfield and Wilton Strategies and commissioned by The Sunday Telegraph, the survey indicates that only 36% of the respondents polled this week are prepared to accept higher fuel prices in order to hurt Russia more.

A third of the Britons surveyed replied in the negative when asked if they were willing to pay more for food to help Ukraine withstand the Russian offensive. Another third, however, said it’s a sacrifice worth making.

Around 54% of the respondents reported a worsening of their financial situation in the last year, up from 42% two months ago, and 62% said they expect the future to be even bleaker.

More than two-thirds of Britons said they have not received a pay raise despite the growing cost of living, and most of those who did receive a raise said it’s not enough to offset inflation.

Based on these latest findings, The Telegraph surmised that personal financial woes may now have overshadowed concern over Russia’s military offensive against Ukraine in the eyes of the general public in the UK.

 Indeed.

The actual Wikiped entry:
Telesur (officially stylized as teleSUR) is a Latin American terrestrial and satellite television network headquartered in Caracas, Venezuela and sponsored primarily by the government of Venezuela,[1] with additional funding from the governments of Cuba and Nicaragua.[2] It was launched in 2005, under the government of Hugo Chávez, with the aim of being "a Latin socialist answer to CNN".[1]
In other words, a pure agitprop operation.

Pro tip. If you plan to be a Russophile propagandist, don't quit your day job.

I knew it was trouble when the bombs started falling on Serbia. That still does not excuse Putin for invading. Unless of course you want to argue that Russia did not actually invade Ukraine. As for the Intermediate missiles the CCP forced that by making and deploying their own. Russia was an economic basket case after 1991. No one wanted to invest their "peace dividend" in rebuilding Russia. And everyone was seeing big profits in China

no need for debate, its either moral to bomb cities of innoncents or its not.

America and Russia both - in the middle east have been on the wrong side of that line - doesnt matter what the broader geopolitical rational is.

why not hold Russia in Ukraine to the same standard, its just bullshit.

the NATO explanation is nonsense, you have to ignore all the work done by Germany to integrate Russia into Europe.

Russia took that leverage and abused it - very simple.

this marketing companies global analysis is kind of interesting - cant garuntee its true - the countries that blame the USA for everything, versus the countries that know Russia.

But if Putin never invaded Ukraine there would not have been a Bucha massacre. Not to mention that Sat photos from right before the Ukrainian army took back Bucha show bodies laying among burned out cars that match what was found and shown in photographs after the Ukrainian army took back Bucha. There is not much you can do to refute that.

Putin just gave the battalion that occupied Bucha metals.

Neighbours, clashes they had during 1000s of yrs next to each other, usually not in love with each other.

But

In present Ukraine-Russia clash "what we want to know" is the true story .. what is the story since "Catherine the great", say 1750 .. especially since 1900

Whether Pole or Estonians or Latvians love Russians or Ukrainians beside the point.

Unfortunately, we in an age that nobody loves nobody .. only Iranians still do things for Humanität, for the rest it is all "Dollar and Cents"

However, sitting in the US and bloviating on youtube, he know less than zero about Ukraine.

All that and $10 won’t get you a Starbucks anymore.

Media drop off on the conflict is precipitous, I would guess that means Ukraine is not winning, despite sexy President.

CNN says nobody knows where the donated weapons are going. My guess is donating to Ukraine is like donating to Black Lives Matter. Some nice houses are coming out of it but we won’t know who got them for a while longer.

Western leftist standing around with @#$& in hands, forgot he already cut them off.

Ukraine on top of all corrupt nations .. pretty much safe to assume lots of those western arms are sold to highest bidders everywhere in world .. lots of people need the latest anti tank shoulder missiles .. we will know where they ended when they use them.

Yes, Ukraine losing as Scott Ritter explains in detail.

Wonder what is the use of shutting down alternative media in west and bombarding western Joe with fake PR in western media ?
