first Neuralink patient can control a computer mouse with thoughts

The first person with a brain chip implanted by Neuralink appears to have recovered and can control a computer mouse using their thoughts, according to Elon Musk, the company's founder.

"Progress is good and the patient seems to have made a full recovery, with no ill effects that we are aware of. Patient is able to move a mouse around the screen just by thinking," Musk said late Monday in a Spaces event on his social media platform X.

Chances are if you are using windows 11 and Windows 10 Microsoft has updated your computer to install Microssoft's "Copilot" which takes a screen shot of what you are doing every few seconds and saves it to an AI Database for a plain language search later. They don't ask your permission to install and run it. Personally I just uninstalled it when I discovered it was running on one of my computers (Windows 10) It seems to be gone now. Microsoft is one of the creepiest companies ever.
