I would not call this map "cool", but tragic in the case of sub-Saharan Africa.

Ironic that that the nation closest to industrialized nation levels is S Africa due to inheriting a power system built during the apartheid era.

Meanwhile, Western NGOs are busy promoting wind and solar instead of conventional power to African governments of resource rich nations.

Accurate for the southeastern quadrant. Picking out the Floridian subregions and Acadiana is remarkable and the first time I have seen this in print.
