If DST made any sense, they would to it in winter for the northern climates because what everybody wants is daylight past afternoon. Change it once and leave it alone and have done with it, that's what I would prefer....'>.....

in my state plenty of places just work 7 till 3, or even 6 till 2 - its a bit cold and miserable in winter mornings sometimes but the upside is you still get a solid amount of usable day to yourself in the afternoons.
