With this referendum democracy in the UK has won.

The EU was bound to create division among people of previously fully sovereign nations who see their democracies being hollowed out slowly but steadily. The remain camps will have a difficult time to explain why staying married to the Big Divider would have been better for Unity.

Now market hysteria will take the front pages with the biggest drop of the pound in 30 years. But next week it may have climbed back already which will be the biggest climb in 30 years.

While the British Pound is back to 1,37 US dollar and probably climes back some further, the bankster gambling community sees 146 billion pounds of Las Vegas money evaporated, a loss that will become less also.

Funny how MSM media journalists like CNNs Becky Anderson want to make it sound like a fault/cost of this Brexit where peoples pension funds are "wiped out", instead of asking why banksters gamble with pension savings to begin with. Banksterism is hopefully next on the political agenda.

Now Merkel is trying to sell the EU as the peace keeper of Europe. But Europe was very peaceful before the Euro was introduced and before the EU became a political cancer. Thanks to the Euro and the EU there are now tensions and costs as never before since WW2.

Thanks Britain for holding your ground.

well said gents. now all those apparatchiks who hate the idea of people actually taking control of their destiny and assuming responsibility for the outcome can tell us how stupid/racist/hateful/selfish the leave voters are.

I suspect most of the critics will be bed wetting Merikans who advocate more widespread nanny-statism.

Remember the good ole days when you could believe in "change you could believe in." sigh........

yep, doomer porn types will get a lot of air time for a few weeks or months, and when things get better or worse, each side will point to their personal scapegoats and claim "See! I told you so! It's better cause we won! "It's worse cause we lost!"

Prediction, starting now, the Brexit vote will be blamed for almost as many unsatisfactory datapoints as AGW. or did AGW cause the outcome of the vote....?

Brexit will prove to be a short term loss and a long term gain.

(...) The EU crossed a fatal line when it smuggled through the Treaty of Lisbon, by executive cabal, after the text had already been rejected by French and Dutch voters in its earlier guise. It is one thing to advance the Project by stealth and the Monnet method, it is another to call a plebiscite and then to override the outcome.

Need I remind readers that our own government gave a "cast iron guarantee" to hold a referendum, but retreated claiming that Lisbon was tidying up exercise? It was no such thing. As we warned then, it created a European supreme court with jurisdiction over all areas of EU policy, with a legally-binding Charter of Fundamental Rights that opens the door to anything.

Need I add too, that Britain's opt-out from the Charter under Protocol 30 - described as "absolutely clear" by Tony Blair on the floor of the Commons - has since been swept aside by the ECJ.

I urge nobody to follow my example. It ill behoves anyone over 50 to exhort an outcome too vehemently. Let the youth decide. It is they who must live with the consequences.

In all the post referendum doom and gloom, there is apparently a bit of good news:

the UK will still be able part in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Folks

Napoleon had a "United Europe" (though, under French leadership)

Brits destroyed Bonaparte to prevent a "United Europe" (what lead to WW1&2 down the road)

Now , there is a "united Europe" .. under German/French leadership

Brits, again, trying to destroy that "united Europe"

but

Europeans have learned their lesson, European leader say : No ReNegotiation .. leave as soon as possible

European leaders, French, Brussel, a few days ago, said, if UK votes "leave", Brits will be punished, thought a lesson.

That means, Europe this time, going to teach Brits a lesson.

British people think they "Chosen People", they somebody special .. it is time, they realize, it ain't so .. not only they no special, in contrary.

Scotland announced another referendum to separate .. Ireland wants to reunite .. that thing hittin the fan

Cameron in reality "f*cked up" .. he thought he can squeeze Angela for more money, threatened referendum, once he got more money from Angela and said he prefers to stay, was too late.

Alright, alright, alright already! We get it. The dog and pony show is over, nothing to see here.

NOW it is time for the serious negotiations. What do YOU PEOPLE REALLY want to do?

And EXACTLY what do you mean by LEAVE THE EU?

Yer not like planning to move the island, right? Or join Canada or Australia, right?

Ya know they only pretend to like Brits, right?

The Brexit blues, Flow my Tears

f7vLOjzG4no

JOHN DOWLAND
Flow My Tears Lyrics

Flow, my tears, fall from your springs!
Exiled for ever, let me mourn;
Where night's black bird her sad infamy sings,
There let me live forlorn.

Down vain lights, shine you no more!
No nights are dark enough for those
That in despair their last fortunes deplore.
Light doth but shame disclose.

Never may my woes be relieved,
Since pity is fled;
And tears and sighs and groans
my weary days my weary days
Of all joys have deprived.

From the highest spire of contentment
My fortune is thrown;
And fear and grief and pain
for my deserts for my deserts
Are my hopes, since hope is gone.

Hark! you shadows that in darkness dwell,
Learn to contemn light
Happy, happy they that in hell
Feel not the world's despite.

Hark! you shadows that in darkness dwell,
Learn to condemn light
Happy, happy they that in hell
Feel not the world's despite.
