What music are you listening to? | 2

A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants.

Thx Apollonius. I had dinner with a retired NY Phil violinist the other day and realized everything I know about classical music after 2000 I picked up from your posts.

Will listen tomorrow when I can connect to the sound system.
“Christ has no body now but yours. Yours are the eyes through which he looks with compassion on this world. Yours are the feet with which he walks among His people to do good. Yours are the hands through which he blesses His creation.”

I have unexpectedly come across some Japa-Greeks. The world is weird like that.

The song they're singing:

“There are a lot of killers. We’ve got a lot of killers. What, do you think our country’s so innocent? Take a look at what we’ve done, too.” - Donald J. Trump, President of the USA
The Kushner sh*t is greasy - Stevie B.

Mucho thanks to Mix for helping me rediscover this classic!

A favorite back in the day! A decade or more later The Marshall Tucker Band was very popular playing similar music.

I found it while searching for "signs!"

Southern Rock is cool, good groove to it.

had a minor reappearance over here in the late 80's because of the black crows.

I had completely forgotten it was called Southern Rock. I really enjoyed Firefall's debut album. Didn't keep up with them.

Not quite the same, but a college room mate got me into Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.

Todays "New Country" has a bit of the old Southern Rock mixed in.

Back in the day putting Patsy Cline on the jukebox was a major pick-up move.

Merciful heaven, protect me,
Advise a doubting heart
That languishes for love.
Love, grant me peace
And give me one day of rest,
For your strength is too great.
