Yours is an oft made point from the conservative side of US politics. I just can't buy it. Hillary has tied herself to serving the well being of others for a lifetime. The presidency puts the final lock on it. The only thing that squares it for me is beatification.

Well, AFAIK all faith is blind, which is the whole point about the concept. Soren Kierkegaard called it a "leap of faith".
Getting back to Hillary. Beatification is more than a guaranteed seat on the heavenly Senate, it is the ability to hear the prayers of mere mortals from beyond the mortal divide. In this way Hillary would be able to continue her good works ad infinitum for the benefit of all generations to come.
