The state asylum picture -- It does not have a white tower Built in the 1800's and has been closed for years.

Good point about the white tower in the back, now that you mention it, it does look out of place and photoshopped.

WVU creative arts center. which there is some dispute when it was built. Some claim it was built during the Salem Witch tirals while others claim it was built in 1933 after the Nazis burned down the Reichstag. It is where the faculty senates meets and recently voted on removing tenure from professors who are not sufficiently woke. I thought about celebrating by organizing a book burning outside of that meeting.

Well it does look like a building that would hold Stasi offices. So much for tenure protecting the freedom of academic inquiry.

But I would settle for closing the CAC and reopening the insane asylum.

WVU has always been the 300 pound gorilla in the room in WV higher ed. It repeatedly has claimed over the years that it did not have enough money to complete it's academic year and either the State government would have to supply it more money or it would have to close the academic year early sometimes weeks early. It also has a one billion dollar trust fund. Plus a vast number of Vice presidents and other administrative staff.

So when it proposed ending tenure for professors late last year apparently it put off the state legislature. So now getting more money is not so easy as it was in the past.

Can you believe I was banned from a subreddit for saying this was the most likely result of these new woke tenure policies?
The inside higher ed Article does not talk about this I suppose lest it give other funders of woke universities "ideas".
