Quite.
WUWT | Timeline of Failed Climate Doomsday Predictions
If there is one thing that climate scientists excel at, then it is moving the goalposts.

The car needs an electric blanket

How silly of them. Generators can do far more to extend battery life of EVs than blankets

There are few things I enjoy quite as much as watching indoctrinated Western virtue signallers get epically destroyed by people from developing countries who are willing to be honest.

A neo-colonialism that is more destructive and pernicious than the original colonialism.

That is what Greenpeace co founder Patrick Moore has been saying for decades.

Whatever pays the bills. As always, follow the money.
I'm old enough to remember the global cooling - imminent new ice age scare of the 1970's.
Dr. Stephen Schneider [Global cooling] vs Dr. Stephen Schneider[Global warming]
A late, supposedly eminent, climate scientist.
One can tell that either position is solely opinion not science by the absolute certainty with which each future scenario is presented.
Of the two scenarios, any significant global cooling would be a complete disaster for mankind.
A significant decrease in humidity - atmospheric water vapour would lead to desertification and a collapse of agriculture.

But but global cooling would be a disaster for Global warming enthusiasts !! How could they destroy human industry without eliminating CO2 emissions?

What do you know...I was vindicated even if no one noticed. A few years ago I came up with the idea that using Venus as an example of how the earth could have run away global warming climate change. I am not saying I am the first person that ever came up with this idea. Just that I figured this years ago.
IE Venus' crust is 300 km thick thus preventing plate tectonics while Earth's crust is 30 km thick, allowing plate tectonics. Thus Venus expels green house gases from its interior never to be pulled back into it by subducted plates while plate tectonics on earth does pull them back in. Thus keeping atmospheric pressure and temperature much lower in Earth.
It turns out the difference between earth and Venus is probably Theia hitting the earth and/or forming the moon. That, at least is what a new modeled study concludes.
It may also as a rare earth theory explain why we aren't, despite what the pentagon says, seeing aliens everywhere we look.
