Politics is a conspiracy by definition.

Seems to me that during the 08 POTUS campaign, I remember a gentleman saying that the media's presentation of Obama's life story and political career were fairy tales. IIRC, that guy's name was Bill Clinton.

If you consider that 90+% of politics is stagecraft and posturing, it is surprising that Hollywood has not spent more time and energy working on a real life version of "A Political Star is Born." Would make politics more interesting. Steven Spielberg and George Lukas characters rather than Carl Rove and David Axelrod characters

Maybe we are at the start of free market politics. Rather than the two party system we have the Google Party, the Coca-Cola party, The Exxon Party, The MSNBC Party, The Microsoft Party, The Apple Party, The Nike Party......... would be a lot more expensive to bribe politicians from 10 or more parties than just the members of two parties.

For comparison, here is a new conspiracy theory. AOC is an actress controlled by a violent Nazi-Communist inspired organization.

Is this a conspiracy theory or investigative journalism? I posted here because it demonstrates how useful 'conspiracy theories' can be in cutting through false, propagandistic public narratives.

The regulation of medical practice is a state function, not a federal one. Governmental preemption of patients’ or parents’ decisions about accepting drugs or other medical interventions is a serious intrusion into individual liberty, autonomy, and parental decisions about child-rearing. . . .

Many serious complications have followed MMR vaccination, and are listed in the manufacturers’ package insert, though a causal relationship may not have been proved. According to a 2012 report by the Cochrane Collaboration, “The design and reporting of safety outcomes in MMR vaccine studies, both pre- and post-marketing, are largely inadequate” (cited by the National Vaccine Information Center).

An Unvaccinated Boy Got Tetanus. His Oregon Hospital Stay: 57 Days and $800,000

By Sarah Mervosh

March 9, 2019

A 6-year-old boy was playing on a farm when he cut his forehead, a laceration that was simple enough to tend to at home.

But six days later, his parents realized something was seriously wrong: He was clenching his jaw, having trouble breathing and experiencing involuntary muscle spasms.

The boy, who had not received vaccinations, was taken to Oregon Health & Science University and was found to have tetanus, the state’s first documented pediatric case of the disease in more than 30 years, according to a new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The case, from 2017, was chronicled this week in the agency’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. It quickly leapt to the top of the report’s list of most-viewed articles and generated much discussion online.

The article described a harrowing recovery and offered a warning of the dangers associated with the preventable disease: The boy spent 57 days in the hospital and racked up medical bills of more than $800,000.

“I honestly never thought I would see this disease in the United States,” said Dr. Judith A. Guzman-Cottrill, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at Oregon Health & Science University, who helped care for the boy and was the lead author of the article.

She said she never wanted to see it again. “It was difficult — for many of us — to see him suffer,” she said on Saturday.

The article came amid continuing tensions over vaccinations in the United States, which is experiencing a measles outbreak, with a concentration in the Pacific Northwest. Oregon has one of the highest rates of unvaccinated residents in the country, with 7.5 percent of kindergarten-age children unvaccinated for nonmedical reasons, according to the C.D.C.
Still, the experience did not change the position of the boy’s parents.

When the time came for his second round of DTaP, doctors talked with the family about the need for vaccinations. Surviving tetanus, unlike some other diseases, does not offer immunity in the future.

But despite an “extensive review” of the risks, and the benefits of vaccination, the article said, the family declined the second vaccination — or any other recommended immunization.
SO other then questing the fitness of the parents to be parents I would like to know who is paying the $800,000 and why anyone other than the parents including the government and any health insurance company would pay it given the negligence of the parents.

I posted earlier a primary source of how Italy tested their allocation of measles vaccine in Jan 2019 and found them to be completely free of measles antigens. Could our measles outbreaks be caused by worthless vaccines?

It seems 60% of US pharmaceuticals are manufactured by China (who put melamine in our baby formula) and Hillary has ensured that vaccines and medications manufactured in China are never tested or inspected. Another Clinton Foundation pay-for-play deal.

very unlikely tho, it was taken by multiple locations at multiple points in the earths rotation over 2 years in an effort to build up enough data points, petabytes of information.

if you want to get conspiracy on it, then possibly the algorithm that ties it all together was weighted/error checked towards giving them what they wanted to see but thats not particularly likely either given the amount of teams across many countries.

Brilliant. I want these people heading up the CDC, AMA, and all of health care in general.

Republicans and democrats, working together, today announced a bi-partisan plan to solve......

On October 19, 2017, astronomers at the University of Hawaii spotted a strange object travelling through our solar system, which they later described as “a red and extremely elongated asteroid.” It was the first interstellar object to be detected within our solar system; the scientists named it ‘Oumuamua, the Hawaiian word for a scout or messenger. The following October, Avi Loeb, the chair of Harvard’s astronomy department, co-wrote a paper (with a Harvard postdoctoral fellow, Shmuel Bialy) that examined ‘Oumuamua’s “peculiar acceleration” and suggested that the object “may be a fully operational probe sent intentionally to Earth’s vicinity by an alien civilization.” Loeb has long been interested in the search for extraterrestrial life, and he recently made further headlines by suggesting that we might communicate with the civilization that sent the probe. “If these beings are peaceful, we could learn a lot from them,” he told Der Spiegel.

Actually the same scientist apparently determined that a meteor that hit the earth in 2014 came from outside the solar system, and such visitors to the solar system may be quite common.

Very fascinating piece. Thanks for posting.

I draw rather different conclusions, that is a puppetmaster/actor politician is not only old news but common place. Powerful behind the scenes people have always done the exact same thing, from Soros to the Koch bros to Joe Kennedy and the old NY bosses. Politicians being given scripts from higher ups is a tale as old as time, as recent as BHO, GWB et al.

Cenk's desire to take over the country is universal, not singular. I would do the same given the opportunity as would anyone else. It's called Democracy. If you want control go win a majority.

OTOH 1, if I were running against those people I would shout it from the rooftops, because it would be great PR for me. Most Americans wouldn't like it if it was pointed out.

OTOH 2, the main nefarious takeaway from this is immigration's impact on politics itself. We have people who've come from different parts of the world and they have no intention of integrating. They bring their subversive anti American ideologies with them and mean to exact revenge on America herself. For this reason alone all immigration should be halted for 10-20 years, maybe more.

I did not allege a conspiracy, CS put my post here against my will.

None of what you posted changes my fundamental view. Astronomers want this to be true so are wide open to confirmation bias.

Yep. It is only the fanatics that get bent out of shape when the information they attain today, contradicts the information they already hold.

This is not a conspiracy theory Nonc. It has been widely reported that AOC auditioned for the support she got that made it possible for her to run for congress.Even AOC has talked about how it was her brother who "nominated" her for consideration.
