Re: Fake News from Forum Participants
Having lost tenure at his university owing to being one of the primary architects of Portugal joining the Euro, Endovelico has fled to the east, absconding with funds from several union pension funds. After entering Poland dressed as a Catholic bishop, lest his usual garb consisting of a rumpled Mao...

Re: Work Out and Exercise
Any suggestions for a diet, especially one where you must eat as cheaply as possible? Dried beans—red, pinto, black, garbanzo, etc.—and corn meal. Get a pressure cooker for the beans. Google recipes for corn bread and polenta. I suppose I'm going to hafta bite this bullet: I can't stand beans, :lol...

Re: Firearms and other Weapons
Oh yes - it's pretty easy. There are loads of shooting clubs throughout the land - target and sport(pheasant, deer, grouse, pigeons - both feathered and clay, etc.). You can use club guns, or a landowner's guns when shooting on his land without requiring a firearms certificate, providing the club / ...

Yes. I used to do a bit of target shooting with 22 rifles as a kid and I've fired a 303 a few times in the RAF CCF as a teenager. Haven't touched a firearm for twenty years though.

3 trillion more debt vs 6 trillion. Well, what difference does it make? As the oil tanker of state thunders into shoaling water, either proposal pushes the engine order telegraph so far past "full ahead" that the handle will snap off.

The fragility of the althelete's knee has long been a major obstacle to a successful resolution of theodicy. Indeed. Not to mention that it put an end to my plans for global domination. Depends. Are we talking competitors in organized crime, or straight up, stranger- on- stranger violence? Because when you correct for that, per capita violence is comparable to many Euro nations. Legally armed Americans shoot more bad guys with less mistaken shoots than the police do. You are safer with armed civilians in America than with police, and yet the police are the only ones some want to arm. Why is that? By way of comparison, how many people do the (illegally?) armed bad guys shoot?

Re: The European Thread
Those lads at the Spiegel don't half bang on about Hitler. They're as bad as the History Channel. I doubt their view of Southern Europeans is coloured by any residual National Socialism kicking around in the zeitgeist, though. It more a question of German resentment and dread at having to: a/ end up...
