If Trump enters the convention with the most delegates, but not a majority, the GOP leadership would be wise to make Trump the nominee. If not, Trump will run as an independent and take at least 30% of GOP voters with him. Perhaps he could even win as an independent, or Reform Party candidate, or whatever.

If Trump goes on BM it would be the end of BM's career he would be destroyed so badly.

My gosh. Do they want Trump to get 60% of the vote? Amazing.

http://freebeacon.com/politics/china-wa ... da-caucus/
China warned the United States on Wednesday not to adopt punitive currency policies that could disrupt U.S.-China relations after Donald Trump’s win in the Nevada caucus.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told reporters in Beijing that “we are following with interest the U.S. presidential election.”

Hua was asked about China’s response to a possible Trump presidency and his announced plan to punish China for currency manipulation with a tax on Chinese goods.

“Since it belongs to the domestic affair of the U.S., I am not going to make comments on specific remarks by the relevant candidate,” she said.

“But I want to stress that China and the U.S., as world’s largest developing and developed countries, shoulder major responsibilities in safeguarding world peace, stability and security and driving world development,” the spokeswoman added.

We'll see it and raise the Clinton Foundation. Trump is inoculated at every turn.

The public has known about the Clinton Foundation for years. It's already baked in to the polls.

Hardly anyone knows about Trump University yet. It will make Trump look like a hypocrite and a con artist.

No. I was part of the US private university experiment. The early years made sense, but later on it became a scam as faculty was diluted and loans sold through inhouse edu-pimps.

Trump simply tried a new system and failed. Nowhere near the deception of Phoenix, Corinthian, Everest etc.

You might be right; but it still doesn't look good. It will probably cost Trump a few percent in the general election.

And, according to the article linked above, Trump University was worse than you say.

Trump will probably have the GOP nomination wrapped up when polls close on March 15th; but I'd only give him a 50% chance of winning the Presidency.

Trump gets major endorsement

This will probably help him on March 1st

November . . . not so much.

I've consistently said that Trump will probably be the GOP nominee.

If he takes Florida in a few weeks, it's essentially all over.

I never said that Duke's support would on net hurt Trump with Republican primary voters.

Cool image!

Tsars have dreamed of this for 500 years.

So, what would be the deal? Putin takes Constantinople and Trump takes Canada and the rest of Mexico?

We've all been around the block enough times to see a smear-by-association.

No one is interested in David Duke's blessing.

...and no, being in the news is not a good excuse for this concern trolling. It's embarrassing enough that every election (which I'm sure is a coincidence) some intrepid reporter sets his antennae towards the crypt of the Duke to make a record of his thoughts in hieroglyphs. It goes doubly so for you to even try the "Republicans are racist hurr hurr hurr" line in such an unoriginal way.

We've already promised Ymix that Trump will build him his very own personal wall. The rest is negotiable.

As long as Mexico pays for it...

I'm having trouble finding this Mexico on the map. But we'll make sure you are taken care of, and it will be great. :)

What about the voters in Louisiana who made him the Republican nominee for governor?

Unoriginal?

Isn't it news that Trump finally got an endorsement from a famous politician? For months now the media has been going on and on about Trump losing the Endorsement Primary.

It's a good thing that Trump is such a good negotiator.

BTW: I think Trump did great in the debate. Two pygmies ganged up on him, and he was still standing tall in the end. Trump looked strong.

And he did a great analysis right after the debate.

As a politician, he's more talented than the rest of them combined.

Did not watch the debate .. things pretty much wrapped up.

Trump was smart enough to sense the wind-shift .. GOP must reinvent itself, the old "fairy-tail" used to fool Joe last 60 yrs lost traction, some new "pitch" needed.

On Dems side, if Hillary elected, Dems would lose the election .. Sanders would have a real chance to beat trump.
