Maybe the comedy industry of Canada is suffering, so the Canadian government is providing more material for Canadian comedians.

Some day this may end up in a Canadian movie, paid for by Canadian tax credits.

It isn't racist so much as stupid. Science knows no nationality.

What's happening now reminds me of how the Nazi regime rejected Quantum Mechanics because they considered it "Jewish Science".

That might have had an effect on the outcome of the war.

Stupidity of all this is not that America will lose all those Iranian top students .. but .. the catastrophe for America is alienating the only young generation in all ME (including Turkey and all Arab and and) that is still pro American .. Ayatollahs will now say to young generation, didn't we tell you so, America not against nuclear Iran, but against Iranian nation

Indeed. Why is it that we seem to be increasingly ruled by stupid people?... Can't we choose intelligent people for rulers, or aren't intelligent people running for office anymore ?...

if you cant tax it then you ban it.. surely you lot have noticed the pattern by now.

its perfectly reasonable, they cant tax the iranians so banning is the only option.

Perhaps because many intelligent people know that they will be ridiculed to the max if they run/stand for office......

And decide they have better things to do.......

IMVHO Dead Ted Kennedy the Cowardly Killer by Car was an important point of inflection when he "invented" Borking.......

And since then lots of us have gone and done likewise because not to respond is often to lose..........

Not a new phenomenon....... Remembering what happened to Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln for example........

But I suspect it is a bit more intense these days with the web so strong vs. noise papers oops I mean newspapers....

A very thick skin is necessary these days...........
