Sounds like some control freaks needlessly exercising their power

Article says that there was a C-Span crew filming.

Wonder if we/US can hear the hearing that way.

I understand the security need to require permission: things like needing to inspect cameras to make sure that cameras aren't explosive weapons like Al Queda used to kill the leader of the Northern Alliance right before 911 IIRC............ or for cream pies in the camera bags etc..........

But after that............. let the filming begin..........

In all fairness, As Mr. P points out, the Democrats are doing it to the Occupiers too. The police state is a bipartisan effort.
