That’s right! Prior to his smash television success of Duck Dynasty, creator Scott Gurney starred as an actor in gay adult film in a 2001 movie titled The Fluffer. This comes as a pretty hilarious surprise given the recent controversy over Phil Robertson’s homophobic comments in GQ. -

Anatidaephobia - The Fear That You are Being Watched by a Duck

Anatidaephobia is an intense, irrational fear that one is being watched by a duck. Sometimes that fear can become so intense as to completely stop a person's ability to maintain daily functioning. Unchecked, Anatidaephobia can become a debilitating condition that interferes with the person's social life, their personal life and job responsibilities. Untreated, Anatidaephobia touches every aspect of a person's life.

I'll take that as your concession that they are conducting a marketing campaign and you understand that fact.

It's Mighty Ducky ;-) here... Daffy Duck Dynasty......

Thank You Very MUCH for your reply, Hossiernorm,

No.

Not so much......

In the last post I was just having fun with Doc's ;-) Duck ;) post...

Ducks have become the Perfect ;) Flat Footed Comic Relief of this thread.......

viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2523&start=50#p67683

Of course Duck Dynasty is running a marketing campaign.....

No big deal in this case.......

The Mighty Ducks ;-) oops I mean the Robertsons grew up under conditions that IMHO match the Hill Billy Rural meme rather closely.....
Robertson was born in Vivian, Louisiana. (NOTE: almost in Arkansas ;-) ) He was the fifth of seven children of James and Merritt Robertson (née Hale). Because of financial setbacks during his childhood, the family lived in rugged conditions having no electricity, toilet or bathtub. The family rarely went into town to buy groceries, and instead lived off of the fruits and vegetables they grew in their garden; the meat from deer, squirrels, fish and other game they hunted and fished; and the pigs, chickens and cattle they raised.
He chose instead to quit football because it interfered with duck season.
Halfway between Vivian and Hosston is Robertson's restored log cabin birth home. The property is owned by Robertson's cousin, Nathan Hale.[8]
Note the Log Cabin like your current Avatar, Abe Lincoln ;) *

I don't see Duck Dynasty doing real harm to America.......

Unlike the marketing campaign by the DemocRats and the MSM that gave America the 'Lavender' ;) Dung Sandwich of obama, the Arrogant Lying Son of a Bitch Eating Creature from the Socialist Chicago Lagoon.....

If you don't like Duck Dynasty, you can just switch to the "Daffy Duck Dynasty" ;) a.k.a. Tiny Toons....

p2It8fA6R8k

Easier than switching to a timeline where obama, the Arrogant Lying Son of a Bitch Eating Creature from the Socialist Chicago Lagoon was not elected :D ....

A second time.....

*Though I doubt that he is a Log Cabin Republican ;)

Sadly it appears you are correct given that enough Americans bought the DemocRAT advertising campaign that elected the 'Lavender' ;) Dung Sandwich of obama, the Arrogant Lying Son of a Bitch Eating Creature from the Socialist Chicago Lagoon.....

The Liberal Intolerance exhibited by the cancellation of Duck Dynasty is IMHO more easily correctable than the Liberal Intolerance exhibited by Gov. Andrew Cuomo*......

viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2523&start=50#p68444

And obama, the Arrogant Lying Son of a Bitch Eating Socialist Creature from the Chicago Lagoon.....

Which sets the tone for Government Goon abuses like the IRS** scandal of Lois the Liar Lerner....

Greedy Money Grubbing  Liberal Progressive ;) Television/Movie Producers care more about ratings/what the public thinks & is willing to pay for than obama, the Arrogant Lying Son of a Bitch Eating Socialist Toxic Blue Green Algae Creature from the Chicago Lagoon.....

*Andrew Cuomo and his daddy Mario, the Donkey Kong jackass ;) can also be quite cynically anti-gay/homophobic as seen in their election campaign against Ed Koch.."Vote for Cuomo, Not the Homo" ;) ... Koch

**Internal Infernal Robbery Revenue Service Society..

Good point. It shows how tolerant the Robertsons really are. Perfectly willing to work with people who make lifestyle choices they don't agree with. That was the point you were making, right.

No doubt about it. I have never tried to pick up another board member or ask if they were naked. Come to think of it I have never really put a lot of thought into what any of you actually look like, well maybe Miss Flossy Fishtits and she was wearing a really hot costume in my momentary thoughts of her. :D

Well at least you are showing signs of a sense of humor. I suppose that means you are not 100% absorbed into a left wing cult.

I find it highly amusing that they're using CO2 generating torches to light their anti oil pipeline protest.
I guess that their solar powered flashlights don't work so well at night ...

Anyways, this is yet another example of the logical induction fallacy: pointing to an individual or handful of looney tunes and inferring that they are representative of some much larger group that one dislikes and seeks to demonize.

No different than, say, inferring that the Westboro Baptist Church is representative of US conservative intolerance.

Rather poor material for a proper debate, in my view.

Most liberals do think wbc is representative of US conservatives. Just ask them.

And of course/obviously doc was not inferring anything. Just pointing out another Democrat kook fringe group (the kkk was overwhelmingly Democrat).

Until the Dixiecrats lost and Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 the Voter Rights Act of 1965 and the desegregated the south. When all those Black voters became democrats they just couldn't stand voting with those black folks and decided to join the Republican Party. (Same Kook Fringe Different Kook Party)
